Naked

We all have a persona that we display to the world.  In some ways, they are good - a bully's taunts or critic's unkind comments cannot hurt us when we have a shield between them and us.  However, it is also a dangerous thing.  If we spend too much time putting up walls and living in the past then we miss out.  If too many layers of faux-confidence and braves faces sit between us the world, nothing can get through, including light and love.  It's easy to be afraid, and hard to put yourself out there, but everyone should learn to brave the world bare of those protections.  I hope you enjoyed reading Naked :)

What He Is

Made a new friend.  :)

The majority of my writing is actually inspired by my life and people that I know or even just see on the street.  Friends, family, or strangers could crack open my scribble book and find themselves in the pages, born into my inky ramblings.  When I have a person in mind, writing comes so much easier.  Sometimes, characters are based very strongly on people I know, and others, it's just the way someone wears their shirt or something in class that they say that inspires a new piece.  I hope you enjoyed What He Is :)
